Okay, real talk, what a boudoir session costs here depends on which collection you pick and what you want to hold in your hands at the end, and you get your exact number on a short consult call before you put a single dollar down. There's no price list on this page on purpose, because the number only means something once it's built around what you actually want.
I'm Alisha, I own Ivory & Lace Studios in Kingman and I'm the one behind the camera, and "how much is it?" is honestly the first thing almost every woman asks me, usually right before she tells me she's been thinking about this for YEARS!
Because a price with no context is the fastest way to talk yourself out of something you'd love, and I've watched it happen way too many times.
Two women can walk into the same studio on the same Tuesday and spend super different amounts, because one wants a handful of images on her phone and the other wants an album on the coffee table and every image from her session. Your consult call is where we figure out which one you are, and then you hear the real number for your real session instead of guessing from a chart.
There are three pieces, and once you get them the whole thing stops feeling mysterious.
The first is your session fee, which covers your session day itself and your hair and makeup on a full session, so the glam is already in there and you're not hunting down an artist or paying someone separately.
The second is your collection, and this is the part that moves the most, because our collections are different sizes. The smaller ones are a shorter shoot with fewer images and one outfit, the bigger ones give you more time in front of the camera and more images, and the biggest one gets you every single image from your session.
The third is anything you add once you've seen your images, like an album, wall art or more digitals than your collection came with. Most women end up loving more images than they expected to, and if that's you, we send you options that fit however many more you love, and you decide then.
This is the stuff women forget to count when they're comparing studios, so here's what you're not budgeting for on top.
Hair and makeup on a full session happens right here at the studio and takes about ninety minutes, and it's included in your session fee. We keep a client closet at the studio, so you don't have to go buy five new outfits before your session, and if nothing you brought feels right we pull something that fits, and if you want ideas for what to bring from your own drawer, read what to wear.
You also get posing coached the whole way through, which sounds small until you're standing there wondering what to do with your hands, and that's literally my job, so you never have to figure it out on your own. On top of that we keep 10+ sets up at any given time and we're always changing and updating them, so you move from set to set instead of standing in front of one backdrop for an hour.
Your session is paid off before your session day, and you can split it into as many interest free payments as you want between now and then, which is exactly why most women book three to four months ahead.
It works like this: on your consult call you pick your date and your collection, a non refundable deposit holds your date, and then your payment plan runs in the months leading up to your session. By the time you walk up to the little blue house with white porch on Beale Street, it's done and you're not thinking about money while you're sitting in the glam chair.
The earlier you book, the smaller each payment is, because the same total gets spread over more months, and that's the honest reason I tell women not to wait until the month before to call.
I'm not going to pretend this is a cheap afternoon, because it isn't, and I'd rather give you a straight answer than a sales pitch.
What I can tell you is the women I photograph aren't sitting on piles of extra cash, they're women from right here in Mohave County who decided they were done putting themselves last, and the payment plan is how so many of them do it without one scary charge. If you're thinking about it but you're nervous about the money, that's exactly what the consult call is for, because you'll hear the number, ask every question you've got and then decide, and nobody is going to push you into booking on that call.
No, it's the same session whether you live five minutes away or you're coming in from Bullhead City or Lake Havasu, and the way we run things actually saves you a second trip.
Your consult is a phone call, your session is the one day you come to Kingman, and your reveal is a separate online appointment over Google Meet three to five weeks after your session. That's where you see your images and choose what you want, your digitals come to you that day, and printed products take about eight weeks and we can ship them to you, so it's one drive and one tank of gas, not three.
If you want to see how the whole day runs from the minute you walk in, it's all laid out on the experience.
Ask anything, but if you want a short list, these are the ones that help you the most:
How many images do you think you'll actually want? It's okay not to know yet, because I'll walk you through what each collection looks like in real life.
Do you want an album or wall art, or are you happy with digitals on your phone? That one changes your number more than anything else.
What date are you aiming for, and is it tied to something, like a wedding, an anniversary or a birthday? That tells us how many months your payment plan has to run.
If you've read this far, you're past curious and honestly kinda ready, so book your consult call and say yes to yourself, and you'll know your exact number by the end of the call. If you'd rather talk to a real person first, call or text the studio at 928-263-8229!
