How a session day actually runs
From the first call to the day your images land in your hands, so there's no part of this you're walking into blind.
We talk before anything is booked
We get on a quick call and I ask what you're nervous about and what you want these images for, and you get to ask me every question you've been too embarrassed to type into Google, and nothing about your day gets planned until I know those answers.
Hair and makeup, right here
You get here with a clean face and my artists take over, and that stretch is usually where the nerves quietly disappear, because it's hard to stay scared while somebody is curling your hair and telling you stories, and it's included in your session fee so there's nothing extra to book.
We pull your outfits together
Bring whatever you already love and we'll fill in the rest from the client closet, which is full of lingerie, robes, bodysuits and accessories in a wide size range, and we decide the order together so you start in the piece you feel safest in and work up to the one you'd never have had the guts to buy.
The shoot, and I run all of it
Your session day runs two and a half to three hours, and we shoot a few different sets so you end up with range instead of forty versions of one picture, and I'll tell you where to put your hands, where to look and when to breathe the whole way through, so you don't have to remember a single pose on your own.
Your reveal, a couple of weeks later
We get on a video call together and go through your whole gallery for the first time, and you pick your favorites and build your collection with me right there to help, so you're never alone with a password and a folder of 200 images trying to decide what you love.

Everything that comes with your session
Your session fee holds the date and covers the whole experience, and your images are chosen afterward at your reveal, so the only thing you're deciding up front is that you're doing this.
A whole house of sets under one roof
The studio is a little blue house with a white porch on Beale Street, and inside it there's a whole range of rooms, so one session can look like four completely different days.
Loud and playful
The disco room, the kitchen, the birthday set, all the ones women pick when they want these images to look like a good time they actually had rather than a serious portrait session.

Soft and close
The tub, the window light and the vanity, which is where we usually start because it's the gentlest way into a day like this, and it's the set most women end up ordering the album from.
